Privacy Statement

BioSight Journal collects personal information necessary to manage manuscript submission, peer review, editorial decision-making, publication, communication, and website administration. This information may include names, institutional affiliations, postal addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, ORCID identifiers, usernames, and information recorded during the submission and review process.

Personal information is used only for legitimate journal operations, including:

• Managing submissions, peer review, editing, and publication;

• Communicating with authors, reviewers, editors, and readers;

• Maintaining the integrity and scholarly record of published content;

• Preparing journal statistics and improving journal services;

• Meeting applicable ethical, legal, indexing, archiving, and publishing requirements.

Access to non-public information is limited to authorized editorial staff, editors, reviewers, technical administrators, and service providers who require it for journal operations. Personal information will not be sold, rented, or used for unrelated commercial marketing. Information may be disclosed where required by law, research-integrity investigations, publication-ethics procedures, or essential publishing and preservation services.

Submitted manuscripts and peer-review records are treated as confidential. Reviewers and editors must not disclose or use unpublished material except as required for the journal’s editorial and ethical processes.

The journal website may record limited technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information, access logs, and cookies, for security, session management, usage statistics, and proper website operation.

BioSight Journal applies reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. Information is retained only as long as required for journal administration, the scholarly record, legal compliance, and publication-ethics responsibilities.

Individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information where this does not conflict with the integrity of the published scholarly record, legal obligations, or legitimate editorial and research-integrity requirements.
