About BioSight Journal
BioSight Journal is a biannual, peer-reviewed, open-access research journal published in January and July by the Department of Physiology, University of Karachi. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, editorials, and brief communications across the biological, biomedical, physiological, environmental, and related life sciences.

The journal welcomes research conducted at all levels of biological organization, ranging from molecular and cellular processes to organs, organisms, populations, and ecosystems. Particular consideration is given to methodologically sound studies that improve biological understanding, use appropriate contemporary techniques, or address issues relevant to health and the life sciences.

Target Readership
BioSight Journal is intended for researchers, teachers, healthcare and life-science professionals, postgraduate and undergraduate students, policymakers, and practitioners working in biology, physiology, biomedical sciences, and related disciplines.

Ownership and Publisher
BioSight Journal is owned and published by the Department of Physiology, University of Karachi, Karachi 75270, Sindh, Pakistan. The University of Karachi is a public-sector university in Pakistan. The journal is editorially managed by its Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board. Editorial decisions are independent of the publisher, article publication fees, waiver requests, sponsorship, and commercial considerations.
